भारत और बुल्गारिया के बीच द्विपक्षीय संबंधों को नई दिशा देने के लिए विदेश मंत्री एस जयशंकर ने बुधवार को बुल्गारिया के शीर्ष नेतृत्व के साथ अहम बैठकें कीं। इस दौरान दोनों देशों ने व्यापार, निवेश, रक्षा, सेमीकंडक्टर और आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस (AI) जैसे क्षेत्रों में सहयोग बढ़ाने पर विस्तार से चर्चा की। जयशंकर ने बुल्गारिया के प्रधानमंत्री रूमें रादेव से मुलाकात कर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की ओर से शुभकामनाएं भी दीं।
