पश्चिम बंगाल में बिधाननगर नगर निगम के पूर्व मेयर सब्यसाची दत्ता को जब पुलिस स्टेशन से ले जाया जा रहा था, तो उन पर अंडे और टमाटर फेंके गए। बिधाननगर नॉर्थ पुलिस ने उन्हें एक व्यापारी से एक करोड़ रुपये मांगने और उसे धमकाने के आरोपों के बाद गिरफ्तार किया। उन्हें आज बिधाननगर कोर्ट में पेश किया गया है।
